Two Lives Lost In Bread Truck Ambush

On Thursday morning, a horrific shooting transpired on the corners of Symphony Way and Temprol in suburban Delft, resulting in the deaths of two individuals.

The victims were occupants of a white Isuzu bread truck bearing the Sasko logo, engaged in their routine delivery rounds at approximately 8 am when they were ambushed by unidentified gunmen.

This tragic event was quickly documented and disseminated via videos on WhatsApp crime groups, mere minutes after the crime occurred.

The aftermath of the shooting saw a rapid response from the Delft police, who discovered the victims with fatal gunshot wounds still inside the vehicle. Despite the immediate arrival of medical personnel, both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.

Sergeant Bilqis Poole, the police spokesperson, confirmed that Delft detectives are actively investigating two counts of murder and exploring potential motives, including alleged connections to extortion gangs. However, no arrests have been made at this time.
