From ‘Arrested’ To Airport Pickups! Tumisho Masha Celebrates Major Dad Win After Years of Custody ‘Hell’

Actor Tumisho Masha is soaking up every second of the festive season with his daughter — and for him, this isn’t just a holiday moment, it’s a full-circle victory years in the making.

Taking to social media, the doting dad shared an emotional post revealing that he officially began his half of the holidays after collecting his daughter from the airport — a moment he says once felt impossible.

Tumisho Masha’s Custody Battle Finally Turns Around

In 2023, after years of a drawn-out and emotionally draining legal fight with his ex-wife, Zozibini Mtongana, the court finally ruled in Tumisho’s favour — granting him the right to be an active, present father in his daughter’s life with 50/50 contact.

But the road to this point? Painful doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Tumisho revealed that eight years ago, on the exact same date, he was unlawfully arrested following a false accusation of kidnapping his own child — despite not even having sleepover rights at the time. The courts later confirmed the arrest was unlawful, but the damage? Already done.

“When Jesus Says Yes…” — Mzansi Reacts to the Redemption Arc

The actor didn’t mince his words when reflecting on the journey, crediting faith for carrying him through the darkest chapters.

“When Jesus says yes, nobody can say no. No person, no system, no circumstance is bigger than God’s plan.”

And whew — that line alone had timelines emotional.

Many netizens praised Tumisho for his perseverance, calling his story a powerful reminder of how difficult custody battles can be for fathers — and how rarely their struggles are openly acknowledged.

Others called it one of the realest festive posts they’ve seen this season.

No drama. No shade (well… minimal). Just a father finally getting what he’s been fighting for all along: time with his child.

And honestly? That’s the real win.
