Tshukudu Malatji Returns To Madlanga Commission Stand As Tshwane Tender Probe Deepens

Suspended Director for Asset Protection at the Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD), Tshukudu Malatji, returned to the stand at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry on Thursday morning.

Proceedings continue to focus on evidence linked to the City of Tshwane, where several senior officials have been implicated in alleged tender manipulation.

At the centre of the inquiry is a multi-million-rand contract for Ad-Hoc security services, which remains under intense examination.

Madlanga Commission Focuses On Tshwane Security Tender Irregularities

Malatji is expected to continue his testimony concerning the awarding and management of the security tender tied to the City of Tshwane.

The commission has previously heard that he failed to comply with an instruction to halt Ad Hoc security services, a decision that reportedly resulted in expenditure of approximately R14 million.
