Shocking videos from Pretoria’s upscale Zanzou nightclub have surfaced online, revealing disturbing scenes of extreme violence allegedly carried out by the club’s bouncers.

The viral footage shows patrons being hogtied, stripped, and subjected to brutal assaults—including waterboarding, sexual violence, and attempted murder. The victims were reportedly targeted for failing to settle their bills, though the club denies this claim.

Allegations Against Club Owner and Security Staff

One of the most chilling clips appears to show a man—allegedly Zanzou’s owner—stabbing victims while issuing threats. “Don’t move, you think we’re playing here. You’re going to die,” he is heard saying.

Other videos depict patrons with their limbs bound, t-shirts pulled over their heads, and subjected to humiliating and violent acts. The footage has sparked widespread outrage, with calls for urgent legal action.

Club Management Responds Amid Public Outcry

Zanzou’s management released a statement acknowledging the videos and claiming swift action was taken. “When management became aware of the practices, an investigation was conducted, leading to the dismissal of security personnel responsible,” the statement read.
