Three Men Gunned Down In Eersterivier

Cape Town police are investigating a brutal triple murder after three men were shot dead in the early hours of Sunday morning in Kleinvlei, Eersterivier.

According to police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Malcolm Pojie, the incident unfolded at around 00:40 on Daventry Street in Stratford Green. Three armed men allegedly stormed the premises where the victims, aged between 18 and 39, were socialising in the yard.

Without provocation, the suspects opened fire, killing all three victims instantly.

“We are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the arrests of these individuals,” said Pojie, adding that the suspects fled the scene on foot and remain at large.

The Provincial Serious and Violent Crimes Unit has since taken over the investigation, with detectives working around the clock to track down those responsible.

Kleinvlei SAPS has opened three counts of murder, while police have urged residents to come forward with any information that could assist the case.
