My days have been boring until I came across some exciting games. So, I am currently on a very long work leave, parents know this one very well. I took four months’ leave and sitting at home during the day can be boring and days seem so long while I wait for my bundle of joy.
I have read from gospel, romance to investment books and almost ran out of ideas on what to do. So early this week I went surfing the net and boom I bumped into this gaming site.
I thought it was just one of those sites that have boring or unresponsive games. So I tried it out at first I played the Solitaire classic games and I must say I enjoyed it as it was quite a bit different from the previous ones I’ve played before.
The background is clear, you don’t get hints. This gave me time to relax and I patiently thought of my next move. It helped me develop a bit of patience. It’s not complex but it still requires one to employ a well-thought-out strategy when playing for a better chance to beat your last score. I just have to show you how the game looks, look at the pic below, this is where I had to apply my strategy.
I also tried it with the three-deck option and I absolutely loved it.
I went on to browse for more games and you won’t believe I came across one of my favourite childhood games, crazy eights.
I played the game back in my school days with my siblings and this took me back to those memories. If you know the rules of this game, then you’ll absolutely love it.
If you’ve played cards before then you’ll love this one. I stayed on this one for hours, and when the kids came back from school they joined in.
Players in a game of Crazy 8s need to have an understanding of how to manipulate cards easily, how to organize their cards, and how to keep the rules of the game in their short-term memory so that they don’t discard their cards at an inopportune time.
Once you’ve done that, you’re good to go.
And then yesterday, I played one that requires you to have a good memory, thinking and good terminology skills. Can you guess, the game? It’s Crossword game.
One of the greatest benefits of crosswords is that they are constantly introducing you to new words. Learning new things is a productive way to pass the time and helps keep your mind active. Crossword puzzles teach new vocabulary and improve spelling in people of all ages.
I like how the letters quickly turn red when you enter into an incorrect box. Have a look below:
The interesting part is that you can find all these games and more on one platform. Can you believe it? Well just, just visit https://www.solitaire.org/ and you’ll find these games and a dozen others.
