During Summer Game Fest, major Hollywood personalities will be on hand to play. Keanu Reeves arrived at the Xbox Games Showcase to introduce the teaser for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty after Nicolas Cage spoke at the opening keynote to explain his involvement in Dead by Daylight.

Reeves reprises his role as Johnny Silverhand in the expansion, which includes another big name in the form of Idris Elba. Phantom Liberty sees Johnny and V undertaking “a dangerous spy mission,” Reeves said, with Elba playing a secret agent.
The expansion will transport you to Dogtown, a new neighborhood in Night City, where you will be tasked with rescuing the president of the New United States of America.
“Expect a massive expansion. Twists, secrets, and plenty of stuff to do,” Reeves added.
The trailer includes the voice of a new figure who claims to be aware of the ticking timebomb in V’s head (no spoilers for those who haven’t played the main game) and that they can spare V’s life. The commander-in-chief appears to be the price of salvation.
Phantom Liberty is shaping up to be an exciting continuation of the plot of Cyberpunk 2077. Let’s hope the expansion’s release goes much more smoothly than the original game’s.
We’ll find out on September 26th, when Phantom Liberty is released. It should be noted, however, that the DLC will not be accessible for the PS4 or Xbox One.
