Lenovo Z5 Pro smartphone with a camera slider design will launch in China on November 1. The company’s vice president Chang Cheng posted teaser posters on Chinese social networking site, Weibo confirming Lenovo Z5 Pro launch date.

The teaser hints at a manual slider design to reveal the camera module, similar to Xiaomi Mi MIX 3, which made its debut in China earlier this week. Lenovo Z5 Pro could sport dual camera setup on the front. Chang Cheng also confirmed that the upcoming Lenovo phone will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Lenovo previously announced that the Z5 Pro will launch on October 1, however, they missed the date. It is yet to reveal more details of the event and whether it will be a global launch. A video was recently spotted on Weibo, which showcases how the slider mechanism of Lenovo Z5 Pro works.

Lenovo Z5 Pro will be the successor to Lenovo Z5, which was unveiled earlier this year and touted by the company as the world’s truly bezel-less phone before it was launched. However, when the phone finally made its debut in China, it was not entirely bezel-less, instead it sports a notch on top of the display along with prominent side bezels. This was in sharp contrast to what Lenovo advertised ahead of the launch with the teaser posters on Weibo.

Lenovo Z5 sports a 6.2-inch full HD+ notched display with a resolution of 2246×1080 pixels. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor paired with Adreno 509 GPU. The device comes with 6GB RAM along with 64GB/128GB internal storage expandable via a microSD card. All of this is backed by a 3,300mAh battery.

The device sports a dual camera setup on the back consisting of two 16MP sensors. On the front, it features an 8MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0 for taking selfies. Both the camera modules can shoot videos in 4K resolution.
