Tebogo Thobejane SNAPS Over Cat Matlala Case Mockery “I’m Also Human”

Whew, child — Tebogo Thobejane is not here to play nice anymore. The actress and socialite is speaking out after weeks of being mocked online about the wild criminal case involving her ex-boyfriend, Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala — the man accused of trying to have her assassinated.
Yup, you read that right. The same man who once called her “babe” is now behind bars for allegedly plotting to take her out. And while the streets have been laughing and gossiping, Tebogo says she’s been fighting for her sanity.
Tebogo Thobejane “I’m Living in Fear — This Has Broken Me”
In a fiery since deleted statement dropped on her Instagram page on Saturday, 8 November, the former Muvhango actress finally let it all out.
“Over the past months, I have continued to endure public scrutiny, false narratives, and emotional distress surrounding an ongoing criminal case in which I am the victim,” Tebogo Thobejane said.

Sis said the court case has her shaking in her boots — battling anxiety, fear, and nonstop online hate. And honestly, can you blame her? Imagine being shot at, then mocked for it.
“Each time the matter appears in court, I am forced to relive one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. This has taken a severe toll on my mental and emotional well-being.
“I am living with heightened anxiety and fear, constantly reminded of events I am trying to heal from,” she revealed.

Tebogo made it crystal clear: she’s DONE being everyone’s content.
“I respectfully appeal to TikTokers, bloggers, online commentators and media platforms to approach this case with sensitivity, accuracy and humanity,” she said.
Translation? Stop clout-chasing off my trauma.
She also threatened to take legal action if the gossiping continues — so the “fake news” gang better watch out.
“Never before has a victim been placed under such relentless public scrutiny… If this invasion of privacy continues, I’ll have no choice but to pursue legal action.”

Tebogo ended her post by reminding everyone that beneath the glam and headlines, she’s still a woman who’s been through hell.
“I am resilient. I am strong. But I am also human. I deserve the right to heal, privately and peacefully.”
But of course, the internet had other plans. Some fans showed love and support, while others kept it shady, saying “Tebogo only speaks when it’s time to trend.”
