South African choreographer, dancer, and former Fly Chix member Nkateko “Takkies” Maswanganyi has officially confirmed her separation from husband Chris Dinwiddy after nearly eight years of marriage.

Dinwiddy took to social media to confirm that he is now in a new relationship.
“During life’s winding journey, I met an unexpected person in an unexpected place. And so started a new life chapter with a supportive, caring, and beautiful partner at my side,” he wrote.

A close source alleged that Dinwiddy’s marriage troubles stemmed from infidelity after the couple relocated to London. “He strayed. He connected with someone else when they arrived in Europe,” the insider told Sunday World.

Takkies, 35, has also revealed that she is dating again — reportedly with a white partner whose identity she has chosen to keep private for now.
Reflecting on her journey, she shared: “I’m grateful to God for giving me strength, opening my eyes, and saving me. Healing is not straightforward but so vital. I’m back and better.”
The choreographer added that she is setting stronger boundaries in her new chapter: “I’m approaching love by protecting my peace. My boundaries are stronger. I don’t overlook red flags, and as sweet as I am, I’m not accepting any nonsense.”
