State Witness Reveals How Victims’ Bodies Were Hidden In Limpopo Pig Farm Murder Case

The murder trial of Limpopo pig farmer Zacharia Olivier and his co-accused William Musora resumed this week at the Polokwane High Court, revealing chilling details about where the victims’ bodies were hidden.

On Tuesday, testimony exposed that the accused allegedly placed the bodies of Maria Makgato and Kudzai Ndlovu inside a pigsty at the Onverwacht farm, situated just outside Polokwane.

Both Olivier and Musora stand accused of murdering the two women and wounding Mabutho Ncube during a violent incident in August last year.

Accused Maintain Innocence Amid Harrowing Testimony

Despite the grim evidence presented, Olivier and Musora have maintained their innocence, entering not guilty pleas to the murder charges.

However, Olivier has pleaded guilty to a separate charge of possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

In an affidavit submitted to the court, he admitted that the victims’ bodies were placed in an empty pigsty on a Sunday, though he continues to deny any role in the killings themselves.

A new development in the case has emerged as Accused 2, Rudolf de Wet, has turned state witness. His testimony is expected to shed further light on the events that unfolded at the Onverwacht farm.

The trial continues in the Polokwane High Court, where more witnesses are set to take the stand as the prosecution seeks to prove its case against the accused.
