Good news for gamers. ‘Star Wars Jedi Knight,’ Jedi Academy, the classic action game that was originally released 17 years ago, has finally arrived on the PS4 and the Nintendo Switch.

The new release will make you feel like a new student at Luke Skywalker’s Jedi Academy and it will have you battling a mysterious Sith cult across the galaxy.

It’s actually not like other games where you have a set main character, rather, Jedi Academy has a feature that will allow you to customize your character’s species, like appearance and gender.

You can also forge your own lightsaber design from different hilts and sabre colours, you can make it just the way you want it.

If you’re going on a single-player mode, you’ll be required to complete missions assigned by Luke and your instructor Kyle Katarn.

Also, note that you can play with up to 16 players in six online multiplayer modes if you are the type that enjoys battling it out with multiple friends.

The company that worked on the PS4 port and published it, Aspyr, ensured that the game’s controls for the modern console was updated.

The same company also developed and published a port for the Nintendo Switch, which the world gaming giant revealed via its “Direct Mini” presentation.

It’s very much possible that the “Jedi Academy’s” latest release will put you in the mood to play more classic “Star Wars” games, then watch out for more announcements from Aspyr and LucasArts.

We heard that they’re also updating the ’90s racing game Star Wars Episode I: Racer. According to a leak, the update may be available on the PS4 and the Switch this spring.
