We can only imagine the hangover our SAPS member will have on Sunday. A police officer made a holy show of himself by jumping onto the pitch during a football match between Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
The officer in question was seen dancing near the touchline, throwing a series of shapes in front of an amused audience. Another, more sober officer eventually cut his painful routine short, and our irritated cop was escorted out of the venue.

He was reportedly sent away immediately after reporting for duty drunk. Instead of returning home as instructed, the rogue official went to the Orlando Stadium.
He led a one-man pitch invasion before the game even started, while still in full uniform.
According to a source, the man, identified as a serving Constable, was detained in a cell by Orlando police station. He was thankfully not in possession of a state firearm, and the only harm he caused was to his own career and reputation.
