Former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper, Brilliant Khuzwayo, recently spoke out about his experiences at the club, revealing that he felt like a “side chick” due to the favouritism shown towards Itumeleng Khune.

Despite performing better than Khune at times, Khuzwayo found himself playing second fiddle to the club’s regular starter.

In the meantime, Itumeleng Khune has resumed training with the rest of the Chiefs team after serving his suspension. Khune was suspended by the club following reports that he arrived at training under the influence of alcohol.

During his absence, Bruce Bvuma has stepped up and performed well in goal for Amakhosi. His impressive displays have even earned him a call-up for the FIFA series in Algeria next week.
