Well, all is fair in love and war, we suppose! Former Kaizer Chiefs striker George Lebese and his wife Mapaseka “Melba” Nkosi got in a nasty fight in the early hours of Monday morning.
To make things worse the fight was in a public place (a club in Rosebank) with patrons watching and taking videos. According to witnesses at the scene, Lebese started the fight by confronting his wife and accusing her of smooching Zungu, who recently welcomed his first child with Cindy Mahlangu.

The 33-year-old soccer star, who has been looking for a new team since being fired by Swallows FC, couldn’t hold back his rage, and the fight, which was fueled by alcohol, escalated until the police came.
According to Sunday World, after the police had calmed them down, they took the couple to the police station, but they refused to press charges against each other. As a result, the police recorded their squabble in the GBV book and advised them to seek protection orders against each other.
The commotion was confirmed by Rosebank police spokesperson Bongi Mdletshe. According to his records, Nkosi filled out the GBV forms and was advised to seek a protection order against Lebese.

Lebese confirmed the incident but denied they fought over Zungu. “We knew that you guys will pick it up. But it is not true that we fought over him, people are making it up because his football career is on another level. The truth is we had an argument outside the club over a phone call that she received, not because of that person,” said Lebese.
He went on to say that they did not obtain restraint orders against each other because they had settled their differences.
Yikes! Not coot at all!
