Workers Dismissed Without Notice, Say They Were “Simply Let Go”
The CCMA’s enforcement award, issued on 23 June 2025, aims to recover the outstanding wages — including interest — for the months of April, May, and June. A former employee expressed frustration over how the situation was handled:
“We received no warning or hearing; we were simply let go,” the ex-worker told MDN News.
This abrupt dismissal has raised concerns over labor practices within the company, sparking broader conversations about employee rights and corporate accountability — especially when high-profile names are involved.

“A separate unfair dismissal claim is still under review,” he noted.
