Just when you thought Somizi Mhlongo couldn’t add any more sparkle to his name — boom! The entertainer, TV icon, and style powerhouse has officially graduated from fashion school!

We all know fashion and Somizi go hand in hand — like glitter and spotlight. Whenever he shows up at an event, you know it’s going to be a full production: bold, extravagant, and impossible to ignore. So it’s no surprise that he’s now certified to turn his passion into an even bigger empire.

Red Carpets To Runway Royalty

About a year ago, Somizi officially stepped into the fashion game by launching his Sompire Kids clothing brand, which later evolved to include adults’ fashion. Soon after, the star began designing from scratch — and let’s just say, he understood the assignment!

And if that wasn’t enough, he showcased his latest work at the Durban Fashion Fair, where his runway was packed with icons: Mihlali Ndamase, Bahumi, Minnie Dlamini, Baby Cele, Yaya Mavundla, Sorisha Naidoo, Kelly Khumalo, Babalwa Mneno, Zola Mhlongo, and Sithelo Shozi.

Taking to Instagram after officially graduating, Somizi couldn’t hold back his pride and gratitude.
