Somizi Mhlongo And Bonang Reunite After Years Of Shade — And Guess Who Texted First?

Who would’ve thought?! Former besties turned frenemies Somizi Mhlongo and Bonang Matheba just gave Mzansi the reunion nobody saw coming — and social media is in absolute shambles!

After years of cold shoulders, indirects, and silent shade, the two A-list stars finally crossed paths — and it all went down at the airport!

Somizi, ever the content king, whipped out his phone and captured the whole “OMG, it’s you!” moment on video.

In the clip, both stars beam with genuine excitement (or was that acting? 👀) as they hug it out. Bonang, looking fabulous as always, can be heard saying she’s happy, while Somizi proudly adds that Queen B actually texted him first a week ago. He the adds “And we miss each other”

Let’s take it back for those who missed the tea. Somizi and Bonang were once Mzansi’s golden duo — inseparable, stylish, and sassy! But everything came crashing down in 2017 when Bonang revealed why she distanced herself.

According to her, Somizi had become a little too close to her ex, Euphonik, at a time when she and the DJ weren’t exactly on speaking terms. She felt betrayed, and just like that — the friendship was over.

Things stayed icy for years, though Bonang still showed up at Somizi’s mom Mary Twala’s funeral — a classy move that fans never forgot.

Fast-forward to now, and boom — they’re laughing, hugging, and vibing like no bad blood ever existed.
