Mzansi’s social media detectives are working overtime! Skeem Saam actor Cedric Fourie and influencer Vuyokazi Nciweni have social media in a chokehold after eagle-eyed X user @SoftMaryyy clocked something suspicious — both of them posted strikingly similar photos from what looks like the exact same infinity pool, staring out at an identical ocean sunset.

Cedric kept things simple with a shirtless poolside shot, the water perfectly mirroring the setting sun, captioned "Some seasons are for proving..."

Around the same time, Vuyokazi dropped her own set of pictures from what appears to be that very same spot, writing "Sunset, stillness, and a little..."

And then make everyone more curious she reportedly reposted Cedric's photo too, which is exactly what tipped @SoftMaryyy off.

@SoftMaryyy shared side-by-side screenshots on 23 September 2026, asking the question everyone was already thinking: "Guys, what exactly is going on here? Vuyokazi even reposted… are they dating?" The post exploded, racking up tens of thousands of views as fans dove headfirst into speculation mode, and the theories did not disappoint.

Some were convinced this was a full-blown soft launch playing out in real time. Others were far more sceptical, with @GrabaBagnow offering the voice of reason: "A group of them are here, I think it's a brand trip, Vuyo showed a couple of influencers." A perfectly reasonable explanation, sure, but not nearly as fun as a good scandal.

Naturally, the comments section had a whole lot more to say. @UmashiyaAmahle weighed in on Vuyokazi's dating life more broadly: "Yeah, Vuyokazi is still young; she must have the time of her life with these fishes in the sea! 🤏🏾🤏🏾💎"
