Brenda Mhlongo’s daughter who is a content creator and influencer, Sni Mhlongo, got into some serious trouble last week! She was busted for speeding and reckless driving in Fourways, Johannesburg.

Sni, who’s famous for her social media content, was caught driving at a crazy speed of 180 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. Can you believe it? She was nabbed by the cops and taken to the Sandton Police Station.

The girl tried to resist arrest, claiming her celebrity status, but law enforcement wasn’t having any of it. They even tested her for alcohol!

What Happened Next For Sni Mhlongo?

After a night in detention, the actress’s daughter got a slap on the wrist and was released on R1000 bail. Police spokesperson Captain Tintswalo Sibeko confirmed her arrest and said she appeared in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court on 11 November 2024. The outcome is still pending from the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).

The Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) said Sni was caught by a speeding camera during a routine operation. She wasn’t the only one in hot water; over 52 other suspects were arrested for similar charges and DUI. Yikes!
