Sjava really thought he was doing the Lord’s work this Valentine’s Day, but Mzansi men were not having it! The award-winning musician tried to add some romance to the air by offering to serenade fans’ partners via video call—but instead of appreciation, he got a firm “Not today, Nkabi!”

Sjava’s Offer Gets a Side-Eye from the Gents

Taking to social media, the Umama hitmaker asked his fans to drop their partners’ numbers, a message request, and a song of choice so he could personally call and sing to them on Valentine’s Day.

Now, you’d think people would be jumping at the opportunity for a one-on-one Sjava concert—but the gents? Absolutely not!

“Send me your girlfriend’s number, leave a message you want me to pass to her and the name of the song, and I will video call and sing to her,” Sjava wrote.

But instead of warming hearts, Mzansi men clutched their baes tighter than ever. Some even suspected Sjava had been hacked, while others outright refused to risk it.
