Simz Ngema Claps Back At Haters: “They Don’t Buy Me Bread”

Actress and singer Simphiwe Simz Ngema isn’t losing sleep over online criticism. Speaking on the Mommy Diaries podcast with Mapaseka Koetle, the former Muvhango star opened up about how she navigates social media negativity, revealing that trolls have no impact on her life or happiness.
Ngema—who shares two children with Zimbabwean model and musician Tino Chinyani—has been a regular target for criticism. Her relationship with Tino sparked rumours that he was pursuing wealthy widows for financial gain.
Adding fuel to the fire, the actress had both children out of wedlock, a fact that’s drawn the ire of some judgemental observers online.
But Ngema remains undeterred. She didn’t hold back as she addressed her haters, saying: “Social media isn’t real. It creates this false perception that everyone is against you, but they don’t know the real you. They don’t even buy me bread, so why should I care?”
