Sibiya Claims His Life Is In Danger As Hawks Raid Home And Seize Devices

Suspended Deputy National Commissioner of Crime Detection, Shadrack Sibiya, had his home searched on Thursday, with the Hawks confiscating his electronic devices.

Sibiya insists the raid is part of a broader strategy aimed at removing him from his position.

Sibiya Warns of Threats to His Life

The senior police official has voiced serious concerns about his personal safety. “I believe my life is in danger,” he stated, highlighting the gravity of the situation during ongoing investigations.

Security strategist Andy Mashaile commented on the significant police presence during the raid.

“The police service is out in full force,” he said, noting that such actions were predictable given revelations from the ad hoc committee investigating allegations involving KZN Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
