Shebeshxt’s Lawyer Declares Victory Before Bail Ruling SA Says ‘Not With That English!’

Shebeshxt’s Lawyer Declares Victory Before Bail Ruling SA Says ‘Not With That English!’

South African social media is working overtime after Shebeshxt’s lawyer confidently declared that the controversial Lekompo hitmaker is about to walk free — but it wasn’t the legal flex people expected. Instead, it was the English that sent timelines into complete meltdown.

Yes, the court may be preparing to deliver a bail ruling, but Mzansi is currently focused on something else entirely: grammar vs prophecy.

Shebeshxt Bail Drama Deepens as Lawyer Breaks Silence

After weeks of postponements, confusion and online rumours claiming Shebeshxt had already been denied bail, the musician returned to the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court this week for the continuation of his bail hearing.

Shebeshxt has been appearing in court since his November 2025 arrest following a shooting incident in October 2025, where he allegedly shot and injured a fan who was greeting him on a street in Polokwane.

On Thursday, 11 December 2025, the defence delivered part of its closing arguments. The matter was then postponed once again, with Magistrate Godfrey Netshiozwi confirming that time had run out for the day.

“Once the defence closes its argument, the court will ensure judgment is delivered urgently,” the magistrate said.

All signs now point to a bail ruling expected on Monday, 15 December 2025 — just in time for festive season plans… or heartbreak.

Shebeshxt’s Lawyer Trends for All the Wrong Reasons

And then came the post.

Under instructions from Ramusi Attorneys, Shebeshxt’s lawyer Isaac Mokgopo took to Facebook with chest-out confidence, declaring victory before the court could even rule.

The now-edited post read:

“Today I delivered the best, groundbreaking closing arguments! I am bring back Shebe. #TauYaMolao. I believe in prophecy.”

Chile… that sentence alone was enough to summon the entire South African internet.

Within minutes, the comments section turned into a roast session, with netizens questioning whether Shebeshxt’s freedom had just been grammatically cancelled. Others, however, backed the lawyer’s confidence and praised his courtroom performance — English aside.

Here’s how Mzansi reacted

  • “With that English, I don’t think he is coming back.” — David Nelstroom
  • “English yadi Starring ka Movie’ng 😭 ‘I am bring back Shebe’” — William Madonna II
  •  “Judging from that English I don’t think you understood the prophecy.” — Moyabob Rama
  • “That English makes me doubt otherwise 😅” — Bombay Kea Lekgothla
  •  “Lawyer from Avuxeni College 🤣🤣🤣 that comment kills me every day.” — Lucky Kgosana
  •  “Do you speak this English in court? 😭” — Tri Nity
  •  “From this statement I just realised Shebe is not coming back.” — Neo Mmola

Whew. The gavel hadn’t even dropped, but social media already delivered its verdict.

Now the big question remains: Will prophecy beat punctuation? All eyes are on Monday’s bail ruling, but until then, Mzansi has made one thing clear — the comments section never grants bail.

Stay tuned!
