Shebeshxt Reportedly Arrested For Shooting Man At Limpopo Garage, Victim In ICU

Limpopo-born musician Shebeshxt might need more than an ambulance this time — because word on the street is, he shot a man after a heated road rage incident.

According to reports, the Ambulance hitmaker — real name Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke — found himself detained over the week after a dramatic altercation that allegedly ended in gunfire. Sources told Sunday World that the chaos unfolded on Tuesday night, 21 October 2025, when Shebeshxt and another motorist clashed somewhere in Limpopo.

Road Rage or Real-Life Action Movie?

Eyewitnesses claim the two exchanged words during traffic before Shebe drove off to park at a nearby filling station. But the other driver wasn’t letting it go — he reportedly followed him there, and that’s when things turned ugly. Shots were allegedly fired, leaving the motorist critically injured and fighting for his life in ICU.

Chauke was later handed over to police by his lawyers on Thursday, 23 October, where a case of attempted murder was opened. Sources say the matter is now in the hands of the murder and robbery unit, under direct orders from Limpopo Provincial Commissioner Lt. Gen. Thembi Hadebe.

Another Shebeshxt Day, Another Scandal?

This isn’t Shebeshxt’s first brush with drama. Last year, he made headlines following the tragic car accident that claimed his daughter Onthatile’s life — a moment that left fans heartbroken and praying for his healing. But now, social media is in disbelief that the rapper could already be tangled up in fresh controversy.

Adding fuel to the fire, a clip recently resurfaced online showing Shebeshxt performing on stage with what looked like a toy gun, leaving fans joking that the “toy” energy might’ve turned a bit too real this time.

Police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba confirmed that investigations are ongoing and the artist has been released pending further inquiry. Meanwhile, SurgeZirc SA reached out to Shebe for comment — but he’s staying silent for now.
