Seven Suspects Arrested For Business Robbery In Bedfordview

The South African Police Service (SAPS) Bedfordview has apprehended seven suspects in connection with a business robbery that occurred on Sunday, April 6, 2025.

The suspects, allegedly part of a group of over ten men, forced entry into a storage company at North Reef Road, Bedfordview, prompting a swift response from security guards and the police.

Investigation Continues

The police and security guards exchanged gunfire with them, resulting in the arrest of seven individuals.

Two toy guns, two bolt cutters, and one spanner were recovered, while a Mercedes-Benz was impounded.

The remaining of the armed robbers  fled the scene on foot.

The seven arrested suspects are set to appear before the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.

The SAPS is continuing its investigation, working to identify and apprehend the remaining suspects.

Stolen White Kia Picanto Recovered In Limpopo

In an unrelated but similar incident, a white Kia Picanto, reported stolen at Roodepoort SAPS in Gauteng during March 2025, has been successfully recovered in Limpopo.

Members of the Mopani Tracking Team and Mopani Highway Patrol recovered the vehicle on Sunday afternoon, April 6, 2025.

No Suspect Arrested Yet

The vehicle was swiftly traced following activation by the tracking company, and a search operation was launched in Burgersdorp Village within the Maake policing area.

The stolen vehicle was eventually found abandoned near a graveyard on the outskirts of Moime Village in good condition.

Although no suspects have been arrested, a manhunt is ongoing.

The police are appealing to the public for information that may lead to the apprehension of the suspects.
