Investigators are examining claims that Nkosi may have acted as an intermediary between senior police officials and alleged criminal figures.
Evidence presented at the commission included video footage and allegations that Nkosi collected money from the home of an accused individual on behalf of a senior officer.
Further information before the inquiry suggests he may have facilitated communication between a controversial tender figure and various contacts within law enforcement and alleged underworld networks.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the full scope of the allegations as investigations continue.
