SA Unemployment Rate Increases To 34,9%

South Africa’s official unemployment rate rose to 34.9 percent in the third quarter of 2021, according to data from Statistics South Africa’s Quarterly Labour Force Survey released on Tuesday.

This figure rose by 0.5 percentage points from the previous quarter’s figure of 34.4 percent.
