SA Drags Da L.E.S After Explosive Stroke And Drug Confession: “Stop The Cap!”

South Africa is in flames after rapper and reality star Leslie Mampe, better known as Da L.E.S, dropped a shocking confession about the stroke that nearly stole his mobility — and the drug use he says he turned to in order to numb the pain.

A clip of his emotional interview, shared on 4 December 2025, sent social media spiralling after the Love & Hip Hop SA star connected his July 2024 stroke to deep emotional trauma and bottled-up stress.

But the streets? The streets said: “Stop. The. Cap.”

In the interview, Da L.E.S explained that losing his father, AKA, Riky Rick, and Nathan within a two-year window broke him internally.

“It was definitely stress. I was hiding a lot of stress from everybody. My pops died, AKA obviously, Riky, Nathan…”

He also previously hinted on socials that he was relocating to the U.S. — a soft reset after a year that almost ended his career and his life.

But if he thought the confessions would bring sympathy?

When @RealSihleIV posted the clip, the TL immediately turned into a courtroom.

Some users didn’t believe his “stress only” explanation for the stroke — and they were ready with the receipts.
