Robbery Victim Jumps Off Phoenix, KZN Bridge And Dies

A job seeker fleeing two robbers tragically lost his life after jumping off a bridge in Phoenix, KwaZulu-Natal, on Thursday morning.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived at the scene and found the unidentified man deceased. Witnesses reported that he had been on his way to seek employment when he was confronted by two suspects.

In a desperate attempt to escape, the victim broke free and jumped off the bridge, landing on a railway line below.

Railway Workers Found Him Alive

Railway workers discovered the injured man at approximately 07:30 AM. Despite being critically wounded and unable to move, he told them that the robbers had stolen his shoes and valuables after he fell.

Sadly, the man succumbed to his injuries before paramedics could reach him.

Authorities are investigating the incident as police intensify efforts to track down the suspects.
