Robbery Gang Raids North West Car Dealership, Steals 3 New Ford Bakkies

A daring robbery was carried out at a car dealership in Zeerust, North West province, where a syndicate made off with three brand-new Ford Ranger double cab bakkies.

Spokesperson Charles Matlou confirmed the robbery incident Thursday  morning, stating that the suspects were from Gauteng.

Swift Action Leads To Arrests And Recovery of Stolen Vehicles

Thanks to a joint operation by various law enforcement units, the stolen vehicles were tracked and recovered.

Four robbery suspects were arrested in different areas as they attempted to flee towards Gauteng.

The SAPS airwing played a crucial role in the operation, helping to locate and recover the stolen bakkies.

Law Enforcement Agencies To The Rescue

The North West MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management has commended  the police, Gauteng airwing highway patrol, and Traffic North West Eagles for their efforts in tracking down the suspects and recovering the stolen vehicles.

The recovery of the stolen vehicles, including a top-of-the-range Ford Ranger double cab, was made possible by a tip-off from a whistleblower.
