RHOJ’s Lethabo ‘LeJoy’ Mathabo Just Got Her Range Rover Repossessed!

So, it turns out radio presenter, Lethabo Mathatho, better known as LeJoy, is having one heck of a time with her finances.
You’d think glamming it up on The Real Housewives of Johannesburg (RHOJ) would come with a bank account to match, but apparently, her 2012 red Land Rover Evoque has other plans. Spoiler: the bank is keeping score.
The Car Gone, But the Debt Remains
Now let’s break it down like we always do. Lejoy bought the shiny ride back in 2017 on some fancy instalment plan. She was supposed to shell out R7,028.77 a month for a few months, followed by R6,917.05 for 70 instalments, with a big balloon payment of R90,043.40 due in July 2023.
But guess what? In a dramatic twist, the agreement got cancelled, and the bank swooped in to take back the ride in June 2024. And now she’s sitting there with that massive shortfall hanging over her head! Ouch!
Lejoy Deny! Deny! Deny!
In true *Real Housewives* fashion, Lejoy is acting like nothing’s wrong. “I’m not sure what you are talking about because I don’t owe the bank, and my debt with the bank is 0.” Hayi wena! Might want to check your math, mogirl, because Nedbank seems to have a different version of your reality.

I mean, we all know denial is a river in Egypt, right? But for real, Lejoy, where’s the proof you promised to send? We’re waiting…
In any case, while she sits, possibly plotting her next dazzling outfit, the bank is patiently waiting for that R186,687.86.
