RHOD’s Jojo Robinson Shares Painful Journey To Facelift

The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star Jojo Robinson is never one to shy away from the public eye, especially when it comes to her cosmetic procedures.

Known for her honesty about going under the knife, Jojo recently revealed that she dissolved her facial fillers as part of preparations for a deep plane face and neck lift.

Taking to Instagram, Jojo Robison shared her reasons for this bold move and what motivated her to hit the “reset” button on her face.

Reset Before Big Change

Jojo Robinson, who has been using fillers for over seven years, admitted that while she still loves the results fillers bring, they no longer delivered the look she desired.

“So I’ve been doing filler for over 7 years already. I will always love filler. I just felt like it was time to hit a reset,” Jojo explained.

The reality star also noted that aging had begun to take its toll, and fillers could only go so far in combating the effects of time.

Dissolving the fillers wasn’t an easy journey for the RHOD star. She confessed the experience was excruciatingly painful and left her swollen almost immediately.

“In order to do the facelift correctly, I had to dissolve the filler I had in my face. This scared me so much because I couldn’t imagine my face without it,” Jojo shared.

Despite the discomfort, Jojo pushed through, knowing it was a necessary step for her surgery to be successful. In a lighter moment, Jojo joked about using pop icon Christina Aguilera as the inspiration for her facelift.

“Christina Aguilera was my inspiration for my doctor,” she said with a laugh, hinting that the journey was not just about transformation but also about having fun with the process.

Jojo Robinson has already released the first part of her vlog documenting her experience, where she detailed the filler-dissolving process. She teased fans with what’s to come, sharing that part two will focus on the surgery itself—and she revealed that it was performed while she was awake.
