Red Dead Redemption Launches On Mobile For Netflix Users This December

Red Dead Redemption is finally making its way to mobile devices — but only for Netflix subscribers. The news surfaced via well-known deals watcher Wario64, who also disclosed the official mobile launch date of 4 December.

The classic western adventure will be free to play on both iOS and Android for anyone with an active Netflix subscription. Rockstar is also including the fan-favourite Undead Nightmare DLC, giving mobile players access to the full original experience.

Wario64 additionally spotted new ESRB listings pointing to Red Dead Redemption heading to PS5, Xbox Series X/S and the long-rumoured Switch 2, with those versions expected to arrive on 2 December.

Rockstar Expands Red Dead Redemption to New Platforms

This upcoming release marks another revival of the 2010 title, not to be confused with its critically acclaimed sequel.

While it may not match the cinematic scale of Red Dead Redemption 2, the first entry remains a standout western adventure that continues to resonate with fans.

The game is already available on PS4 and the original Nintendo Switch, but the new listings hint at Rockstar’s intention to bring it fully into the current generation of consoles.

The mobile launch is the latest collaboration between Netflix and Rockstar Games. Their partnership began gaining momentum in 2023, when Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition landed on Android and iOS exclusively for Netflix subscribers.

With Red Dead Redemption joining Netflix’s expanding mobile catalogue, the streaming giant continues to push deeper into premium gaming territory.
