Radio Star Msizi James And Wife Angel Reveal Heartbreaking Stillbirth: “We Are Grieving”

South Africa’s favourite radio sweetheart, Msizi James, and his longtime partner-turned-wife, Angel, took to Instagram with a heart-wrenching message that left the entertainment world stunned: their daughter, lovingly named Sundae Love, was stillborn at 24 weeks on June 10.

“There are no words to describe the emptiness she has left behind,” Angel wrote with raw emotion.

The couple, known for their candid love and adorable family content, had only recently announced their pregnancy on May 8, radiating joy as they posed with their firstborn, Lincoln, in a dreamy photo shoot that now carries a heavy undertone.

A Prayerful Goodbye to Baby Sundae

In their shared tribute, Msizi James and Angel poured their hearts out, expressing a grief no parent should have to bear.

“Sundae Love is now in God’s loving hands,” they wrote solemnly. “We ask for privacy as we navigate this unimaginable grief and we thank everyone for keeping us in their thoughts and prayers.”

The name Sundae Love, sweet and unique, is already etched in the hearts of thousands. And while her life was heartbreakingly brief, her memory now lives in a chorus of condolences flooding their social media pages—from fans, friends, and fellow celebs.

A Family Tied by Love and Loss

Msizi James and Angel’s love story spans 13 years and three of marriage, a bond tested by life’s highest highs and now, one of its lowest lows. Just this past December 2023, they welcomed baby Lincoln, a bubbly beam of joy who brought light into their lives.

In a touching message to their son earlier this year, they wrote: “You have taught us so much about ourselves, about life and mostly about love. You are truly the best thing to happen to us. We pray that the Lord continue to bless you and keep you safe in the palm of His hand.”
