R20 Million Cocaine Bust In Midrand As Police Foil Drug Trafficking Operation

Authorities have intercepted an estimated R20 million worth of cocaine during a high-level, intelligence-driven operation on a smallholding in Blue Hills, Midrand, on the evening of Tuesday, 28 October.

The coordinated raid involved a multidisciplinary law enforcement team, including the Crime Intelligence Head Office, Gauteng Organised Crime Unit, SAPS JHB K9, and the Local Criminal Record Centre (LCRC).

According to police, the operation was launched following credible intelligence suggesting that drugs were being stored on the property.
