Pregnant At 13? KZN Teen Found After Fleeing With 25-Year-Old ‘Boyfriend’ — Adult Suspect Now On The Run

A 13-year-old grade eight girl who disappeared from her Crossmoor, Chatsworth home with an adult man has been found by Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA).
The teenager, who is believed to be pregnant, reportedly left home with a 25-year-old man who had been taken in by her family following a domestic dispute with his relatives living next door. Shockingly, the child’s mother allegedly allowed the adult man to share a bed with her minor daughter.
The girl’s family reported her missing after discovering she was gone on 2 December 2025.

RUSA officers pursued several tip-offs from the public and established that the pair had been moving between Phoenix and Chatsworth, and at one point were spotted in an informal settlement in Welbedacht.
According to RUSA, the teenager had sent messages to several people claiming she was pregnant.
On Tuesday morning at 08:36, officers received another lead that the girl planned to visit a clinic to confirm the pregnancy. Teams monitored several locations at once and eventually intercepted an Uber travelling through Phoenix, locating the child inside.
