Popular Comedian And DJ Peter ‘Mashata’ Mabuse Killed In Soshanguve

Mashata and DJ Sumbody were tight buddies. DJ Sumbody, whose real name was Oupa John Sefoka, was gunned down in Woodmead, Johannesburg, on 20 November 2022, the day of his annual All White picnic.

It’s sad to know that Mashata had to serve as the programme director at his funeral. In January this year, DJ Vettys, one of DJ Sumbody’s friends, was shot but thankfully, he survived the attack.
