Julius Malema Criticizes Floyd Shivambu Over Departure From EFF, Tells Members “‘If You Want To Leave, Leave Now”

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has openly criticized his former deputy president, Floyd Shivambu, for his recent departure from the party.

Malema addressed EFF supporters in Soweto, emphasizing that the party is ready to move on without Shivambu. Last week, Shivambu announced that he would be leaving the EFF to join former President Jacob Zuma’s Umkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party, a move that has rocked the political landscape.

Malema stated, “Leave now, so that we can know how many soldiers we have in this struggle to liberate us. You must leave today because nothing is going to change between now and December, nothing is going to change now and the future.”

Despite the turmoil, Malema reaffirmed his commitment to the EFF and thanked the loyal ground forces for their dedication. He expressed gratitude to those who remained committed to the cause, highlighting the importance of staying united in their mission.
