EFF Secretary-General Marshall Dlamini has confirmed that no resignations have been received since Deputy President Floyd Shivambu’s unexpected departure.
Dlamini addressed the media in KwaZulu-Natal, indicating that the party remains stable and unaffected by Shivambu’s exit.
The comments came during a weekend-long organizational program conducted by the party’s central command team in the province. This initiative aims to gather feedback from the grassroots regarding the EFF’s recent decline in election performance.

EFF leader Julius Malema had previously warned that Shivambu loyalists might follow him, but Dlamini assured that no such trend had been observed.
Dlamini emphasized the importance of data-driven decision-making as the party seeks to understand the reasons behind its electoral setback. “We run this organization by trying to get to the scientific evidence and information, not through assumptions.
There is no assumption or anything; we want to listen to the branches to figure out what went wrong,” he explained. By Monday, the EFF aims to have a comprehensive analysis and factual information to devise effective solutions.
