In a tragic incident on Monday night, Ekurhuleni Finance MMC Nkululeko Dunga was among several people injured in an accident on the R21 highway in South Africa. The accident, which occurred just before the Pomona off-ramp, resulted in one fatality.
According to the mayor’s office, the collision involved four vehicles, one of which belonged to the council. Dunga was seated in one of the vehicles and sustained serious injuries. The Ekurhuleni metropolitan police department’s freeway unit responded swiftly, ensuring that all necessary accident protocols and emergency procedures were followed.
