The delegation expressed outrage that the incident, which reportedly occurred last Friday, was only acted upon after the video went viral on social media earlier this week.

ANC Western Cape spokesperson Khaled Sayed, who was part of the group, questioned the delay in the school’s response, asking, “What was the school doing from then up until now?”

Protesters Refuse to Leave Without Milnerton High School’s Response

Protesters at the school gates vowed not to disperse until they received a satisfactory explanation from management. Many expressed frustration at what they described as the school’s “slow and dismissive” handling of the assault.

Police maintained a heavy presence around the premises to ensure order, while education officials have yet to issue an official statement on the matter.
