Police Question Bellarmine Mugabe After Hyde Park Shooting At Former President’s Family Home

Police have questioned the son of former Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe following a shooting incident at a luxury property in Hyde Park.

Bellarmine Mugabe, 29, was seen in handcuffs inside the upmarket residence as officers secured the scene.

It is understood that a security officer employed by the Mugabe family was shot earlier during the incident, prompting a swift law enforcement response.

Heavy Police Response in Hyde Park Shooting

Members of the Special Task Force and hostage negotiators were deployed to the Hyde Park home after reports that a security guard had allegedly been shot at the property occupied by Robert Mugabe’s son.

Authorities were alerted to the situation when it was reported that Mugabe had barricaded himself inside a room and was refusing to grant police access through the gates of the large estate.

The Special Task Force subsequently moved in, and Mugabe later opened the gates, allowing officers onto the premises.

Bellarmine Mugabe and another unidentified individual were later seen in handcuffs at the property.
