Police Appeal For Help To Find Missing 5-Month-Old Baby In Hillbrow

Police in Hillbrow, Gauteng, are urgently appealing to the public for assistance in locating five-month-old baby Mimes Mimin Allie, who has been missing since Friday, 11 April 2025.

Baby Vanishes After Left in Care

According to the mother, she left her infant in the care of a woman at her home while she went to a nearby shop. Upon her return, both the woman and the baby were gone. The mother immediately alerted the authorities.

Police Investigation Underway

Gauteng police have launched a search operation and are calling on anyone who may have seen the woman or the baby to come forward. At this stage, no further details regarding the suspect have been made public.

Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is urged to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant TA Mmaboko, on 011 407 1636 or call Crime Stop on 08600 10111. Members of the public can also submit information anonymously via the My SAPS App.
