Police Hunt Suspect After Brutal Rape Of Two Primary School Boys In KZN

A manhunt is underway for an unidentified suspect following a horrific sexual assault on two primary school boys in Waterloo on Saturday afternoon.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance from the community at 14:10 and responded to a local residence by 14:16.

Officers established that the two victims, aged nine and ten, had been playing soccer at a field near their home. The boys then separated from the main group to break sugarcane in a nearby field.

It was there that an unknown male accosted them. The suspect threatened to kill both boys.

How the Sexual Assault Unfolded

Fearing for their lives, both boys complied with the assailant’s demands. The man first forced the two children to perform oral sex on each other. He then instructed them to perform oral sex on him. The suspect subsequently sodomised both boys before fleeing the scene.

Officers have launched a desperate search for the rapist. As seen in pictures from the scene, officers have been interviewing residents in the area in an attempt to identify the perpetrator.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities urge anyone with information to come forward to prevent further attacks.
