Following the incident, Mboro was arrested and later released on R3,000 bail. His co-accused, including his son Revival Motsoeneng, spent 40 days behind bars before being released on a warning. The case remains ongoing, with Mboro and his co-accused facing serious charges of kidnapping, possession of dangerous weapons, and assault.
