Oscar Mbo Says Sorry To Makhadzi For Macufe Stage Drama

So, there’s been a bit of drama lately between DJ Oscar Mbo and our girl Makhadzi, and it all went down at the annual Macufe Festival in Bloemfontein.
Makhadzi took to Facebook, where she expressed her anger about her set being cut short. According to her, Oscar Mbo allegedly removed her USB drive, which caused serious confusion mid-performance. No one likes a disrupted show, right?
Oscar Mbo’s Side of the Story
Oscar Mbo, being the chill dude he is, didn’t let the drama fly without a response. He stepped up, saying he’s sorry to Makhadzi if his team was out of line. During a live chat, he said, “I’m saying again, you and I have this thing, yes, my team; I’m apologising for them or him if he did that. If that did happen, I’m sorry, my sister.”
What a classy move! Both artists were meant to share the stage, but things spiralled out of control—communication was clearly lacking.
Learning from Mistakes
This isn’t the first time Oscar’s found himself in hot water. Just a few weeks back, he apologised to rising star Kharishma after a similar incident where his team interrupted her performance.
It’s tough out here in the event game, and these situations really highlight how important clear communication with promoters and teams is. It’s all a learning experience, and hopefully, everyone can move forward. We can’t let misunderstandings put a damper on our vibe, can we?
