South African actress and brand ambassador Lorraine Moropa has officially gone global. The The Queen star was awarded the Experience Maker Award at the Chery International User Summit 2025 in Wuhu, China, marking a major milestone in her career.

In an emotional Instagram post, Lorraine shared her awe at the recognition, reflecting on her journey from Dayton 1520 to standing on an international stage.

“Who would have known that a girl from Dayton 1520 would one day stand on an international stage, honoured, seen, and wrapped in so much grace,” Lorraine wrote. She described the experience as “humbled and deeply moving,” a moment where words simply fall short.

Faith, Grace, and Divine Timing

Lorraine’s post overflowed with gratitude to God, highlighting the spiritual journey behind her achievement.

“To be recognised and celebrated in the presence of the world is not only humbling but deeply moving. Only He could take an ordinary girl from the East and position her in rooms she once only dreamed of,” she shared.

The Experience Maker Award, Lorraine explained, is “a reminder of God’s timing, of patience rewarded, and of grace that locates you even when you think no one is watching.”

She also reflected on her one-year journey with Chery, which began on her birthday, October 31st. “To grow with a brand that sees beyond the numbers, that values people, culture, and connection, has been nothing short of extraordinary,” she added.

Inspiring Every Dreamer

As congratulatory messages poured in from fans and fellow stars, Lorraine dedicated her achievement to inspiring others.

“This moment, this recognition, this love—it is not just mine. It belongs to every dreamer, every believer, every person who has ever prayed for more while still showing up with faith,” she wrote.

The actress ended her post with a heartfelt dedication to her mother: “my rock, my constant, and the woman whose strength, love, and prayers have carried me through every season of my life. This is as much hers as it is mine.”
