Jay Jay Okocha says Bafana Bafana is not Super Eagles rival. Bafana Bafana will play against Nigeria in this 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match at the FNB stadium on Saturday on the 17th of November 2018.

The Super Eagles top the standings in Group E, followed by the hosts who are just a point behind in second place.

The Supper Eagles might be looking to avenge their 2018 2-0 defeat at their home ground at Godwill Akpabio International Stadium.

J.J Okocha the former Nigerian football star says that Bafana Bafana are not the Super Eagle’s rivals.

“No, we do not see South Africa as our rivals, but we know they a very tough opponents” Okocha said as quoted by soccer Laduma website.

“Maybe the Nigerians who are living here (in South Africa) see that which Okocha said as bragging rights, but I do not have to go with what fans make of the game”.

“I speak as a footballer personality somebody who has been there before, you know. So they are not our rivals, but it is always a good match to watch.”

A win for either side will guarantee a spot in Cameroon next year. Should Bafana Bafana be defeated they will be left with no choice but to collect 3 points on their final match. Only fireworks can be expected at the FNB stadium.
