Ntsiki Mazwai Goes In On Minister Gayton McKenzie For Backing Unathi Nkayi’s ‘Lies’ About Sizwe Dhlomo

Ntsiki Mazwai has once again dropped the mic, this time calling out Minister Gayton McKenzie for defending Unathi Nkayi in the ongoing drama with Sizwe Dhlomo. The controversial poet didn’t hold back as she took to her X (formerly Twitter) to slam McKenzie for supporting a “liar” and for turning a blind eye to the truth.

In the now-viral video, Gayton McKenzie is seen backing Unathi, but Ntsiki’s not here for it. According to her, there’s no way Unathi should get a free pass for trying to destroy Sizwe’s career.

Ntsiki Mazwai Says It Like It Is

On her X page, Ntsiki went all the way in, questioning why the Minister was ignoring the facts:

“No guys… we literally heard live audio and saw Unathi lying about another man. In a country already struggling with GBV, this is just mad. Men can’t even defend themselves from false accusations. And Unathi? She never stood up for other women, but now she’s weaponising GBV for her own agenda.”

Of course, Ntsiki’s fans weren’t the only ones backing her. Social media was lit with comments from users who echoed her thoughts, saying Unathi is not the victim in this situation and should not be treated as one.
